Overview
Competitive bids were opened on April 2, 2015 for the Resurfacing of Various Streets Project. Fourteen contractors picked up bid documents and six bids were received. The low responsible bid was submitted by Chicagoland Paving Contractors, Inc., in an amount of $2,339,900.00.

The streets included under this contract require curb and gutter replacement and a deeper layer of asphalt to be replaced. An attachment shows the specific work locations in this contract.

This contract is the first of two resurfacing contracts planned for construction in 2015. The second contract consists of grinding off the surface of the street and placing a new layer of asphalt which has less impact on the overall schedule of work.
