Overview
The Village and the State of Illinois have historically entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) for the Village maintenance of State highways within the Corporate limits of Oak Park. This item would renew the existing ten year agreement with the State.

Fiscal Impact
The Village would receive $73,591.00 for the period of July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016 for this maintenance. This amount is adjusted annually based on the published Engineering News Record adjustment factor. This is an increase of 2.71% over the previous year.
The funding of Village or contract services for this work is provided for annually in the General Fund, Street Services budget.
Background
The Village and State of Illinois IGA for municipal maintenance of State highways will expire on June 30, 2015. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) on behalf of the State proposes to enter into a new IGA for the period of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2025.
The scope of services as identified in Part 5 of the IGA includes routine surface and pothole repairs, temporary full depth patching, sealing cracks, street cleaning, litter pickup, snow and ice control and other routnine operational services. Streets include the Village's half of Harlem Ave., North Ave., Roosevelet Rd., all of Washington Blvd. and Ridgeland Ave. from Roosevelt Rd. to Augusta St. totaling 19.9 lane miles.
IDOT proposes in this IGA that the location listing can be modified if mutually agreed upon by both parties. The Village Manager would be authorized to make this modification.
