Overview
Overview
In April of 2016 the Village of Oak Park entered into an agreement with Strand Associates to provide Construction Inspection Services for the Site/Civil Work at the Oak Park Station Development Project. The intent of the agreement was to provide full time inspection services during the underground utility work and then inspection of the streetscape and paving work at varying levels of coverage from part time to full time depending on the work involved. The original cost of the inspection services was based off of the construction schedule provided by Tishman Construction. Underground utility work took significantly more time than originally projected by Tishman Construction which required more time and cost for the Village's inspection of the work. The change order of $65,000 adjusts the contract amount to $137,074.
