Overview
Overview
The Engineering Division opened bids on July 14, 2016 for the Washington and Wisconsin Traffic Signal Improvement Project. Four bids were received. The low bid was submitted by H&H Electric Company in an amount of $302,725.20 which is more than the $150,000 included in the FY2016 Budget for this project. Staff recommends rejecting the bids since the project exceeds the budget amount and including funds for this project in a future year's budget.

Body
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends rejecting the bids for this project and including funds in proposed future budgets to construct this project.

Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact to rejecting the bids.

The FY2016 Budget included $150,000 in funds for the design and construction of this project in the Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, for Traffic Signal Management account no. 3095-43780-101-570971 which were carried forwarded from FY2015.
