Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

The Police Department uses contractual services to address crisis intervention and other social work services.  The current contract will expire December 31, 2016.

Fiscal Impact

This three year contract would begin on January 1, 2017 and conclude on December 31, 2019.  The General Contractual account number 1001-42400-101-530660 has sufficient funds to cover this proposed agreement.

 

Background

Competitive bids were opened on November 15, 2016 in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued on October 18, 2016.  The RFP was advertised in the local paper, on DemandStar and on the Village website.  Two proposals were received.  The low bid was submitted by Thrive Counseling Services.  The current three-year contract that will expire on December 31, 2016 is alos with Thrive Counseling Services.

The Village Board could delay action and seek additional information.
