Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The Engineering Division requested proposals for construction engineering services to administer the 17-2 Street Resurfacing project. A total of ten engineering firms received RFP documents and nine proposals were received. Staff reviewed the proposals and interviewed three consulting firms. The proposal from Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick best fit the needs of the Village for this project.

Fiscal Impact
The FY2017 budget provides $3,000,000 for local street construction in the Capital Improvement Fund, account no. 3095-43780-101-570951. There is currently $2,106,754 available in this account to fund this $120,591 contract which will leave $1,986,163 remaining to fund the associated construction project which only needs $1,959,948 from this account.

Background
This project is for the construction management of the resurfacing project throughout the Village. This project consists of 14 locations of streets and parking lot resurfacing for about 2 miles of total resurfacing. This is the second and final resurfacing project of the year which focuses on streets needing deeper repair than the resurfacing projects from the first contract.

The Engineering Division requested proposals from 10 consulting firms to provide construction management services for the project. 9 consultants provided proposals and three consultants were interviewed.
