Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Historically, the Village has allowed Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC dba Firestone Complete Auto Care to park vehicles in the enclave parking spaces located on the corner of Harvey Avenue and Lake Street.  This agreement documents the use of these spaces and provides for other responsibilities such as snow removal and maintenance of the spaces.

Fiscal Impact

This would generate additional revenue in the amount of $12 and the Village will incur savings of approximately $1000 due to Firestone’s agreement to snow plow and provide general maintenance of these enclave areas. 

 

Background

Historically, the Village has allowed Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC dba Firestone Complete Auto Care to park vehicles in the enclave parking spaces located on the corner of Harvey Avenue and Lake Street.

 

The proposed agreement provides for a five year term, subject to the following:

1.                     Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC may use all five (5) spaces in the lot for parking. 

2.                     Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC will be responsible for snow cleaning and general maintenance.

 

 

Alternatives

The Village Board could decide to change the term of the License Agreement or seek additional information.
