Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

The Reinventing Government Committee is asked to develop recommended performance metrics along with specific steps to improve partner agency transparency for consideration by the full Village Board.

Background
On February 5, 2018, the Village Board adopted its goals for 2018-2019. Within Goal 3: Financial and Fiscal Responsibility the Board established objective no. 5 Partner Agencies and noted under (a) Establish performance metrics to evaluate and determine funding and increase financial transparency.

Staff recommends the Reinventing Government (RIG) Committee meet to review the current Partner Agency Contract, existing performance metrics and reach consensus as to recommended changes. In addition, the RIG Committee would be asked to determine standards for Partner Agencies in terms of financial transparency. The recommendations of the Committee would be presented to the Village Board for approval.

The current Partner Agencies of the Village include:
1. Oak Park Area Convention and Visitors Bureau
2. Oak Park Area Arts Council
3. Oak Park Economic Development Corporation
4. Oak Park Housing Authority
5. Oak Park Residence Corporation
6. Oak Park Regional Housing Center
7. Oak Park and River Forest Chamber of Commerce

The RIG Committee of the Village Board is comprised of Trustees Andrews, Button and Tucker. Mayor Abu-Taleb is an ex-officio member of the Committee.
