Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
The Engineering Division requested proposals for traffic data collection to update the Village-wide traffic study conducted in 1998. The traffic data collection work consists of collecting traffic data at over 400 locations throughout the Village and is intended on being completed this fall, weather permitting. The proposal from Gewalt Hamilton Associates best fits the needs of the Village for this work. The proposal from Gewalt Hamilton Associates was in an amount of $84,250 which is over the budgeted amount of $75,000 for this work. The scope of work will be reduced to fit the budgeted amount.

Background
The Engineering Division requested proposals for collecting traffic data at locations throughout the Village in order to update the Village-wide traffic study from 1998. The traffic data will be collected at approximately 400 locations primarily on residential streets, at approximately 10 signalized intersections, and up to 8 licensed plate recognition studies to identify through traffic or other traffic patterns. Traffic data is collected typically with sensors attached to the pavement and cameras at intersections and is scheduled to be completed in October of this year, weather permitting.
