Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Since 2005 the Village has entered into License agreements for the use of Lot #116 at the northeast corner of Madison Street and Oak Park Avenue. The Village has had a License Agreement with Dombrowski Christmas Tree Farm since that time.  The most recent agreement expired on December 24, 2017.

Fiscal Impact

The annual Parking Fund budget provides for the revenues anticipated to be received from the Agreement. The Tree Farm annually pays the Village $2,175 for use of the lot.

 

Background

Since 2005 the Village has entered into License agreements for the use of Lot #116. The Village has had a License Agreement with Dombrowski Christmas Tree Farm since that time.  The most recent agreement expired on December 24, 2017.

 

The proposed agreement provides for a one year term, subject to the following

1.                     The Tree Farm may use 24 spaces in the lot in late November thru December 24.

2.                     The Tree Farm annually pays the Village $2,175 for use of the lot.

 

Alternatives

The Village Board could decide to change the term of the License Agreement.
