Overview
Overview
The Funding Grant Agreement between the Village of Oak Park and Visit Oak Park is for the amount equal to the revenues generated by the 3% Hotel/Motel Tax assessed in fiscal year 2018 which is estimated to be approximately $205,000 and $7,500 in support from the General Revenue Fund.

Body
Staff Recommendation
Approve the Resolution.

Fiscal Impact
The 2019 Budget contains a line item of $205,000 from the Hotel/Motel Tax account #1001.46260.231.585652 and $7,500 from the General Revenue fund account #1001.46260.231.585652. However, because of the addition of the Hotel/Motel Tax to Transient Rental Units such as AirBnB, the actual Hotel/Motel Tax collected could be greater than budget. If so, the General Revenue Funding level will be reduced accordingly.
