Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Overview

The property located at 618 S. Austin Boulevard serves as a police department substation. The current lease agreement expires on December 31, 2018.  This two-year renewal agreement spans the timeframe of January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2020.

Pass an ordinance approving the lease agreement between the Village of Oak Park and Greenplan Management, Inc. for the property located at 618 S. Austin Avenue.

 

Fiscal Impact

The rent schedule is provided below:

1.                     January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019 - $825/month

2.                     January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2020 - $850/month

 

 

Background

Since opening in 2004, the substation at 618 S Austin has served as the location for Zone 6’s monthly meeting with residents. Officers also can use this location to write reports. The Department currently has 3 active sub-stations throughout the Village.
