Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Fiscal Impact
The FY 19 budget included a one-time implementation fee of $54,150 and $22,787 for an annual subscription service in account 1001.42400.101.530667. This is a three year agreement.

Background
The Police Department currently maintains and distributes policies and procedures through electronic PDF documents and training bulletins. This method is inefficient and makes updating and disseminating materials laborious. Lexipol will provide a comprehensive database of organizational tailored policies and procedures vetted by police professionals and public safety attorneys grounded in Illinois legislation and industry best practices. The acquisition and implementation of this program will provide the department with a technology based platform to facilitate daily training and comprehension assessment tracking. This partnership will enhance personnel accountability and reduce department liability.
