Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview

Village of Oak Park employees who work more than 1000 hours a year participate in the IMRF pension program.  The plan requires an authorized agent to sign documents and administer those aspects for the benefit that are the responsibility of the Village.

It is recommended that the CFO temporarily assume the responsibility of authorized agent for IMRF until a permanent Human Resources Director is hired.

Background

The responsibility associated with the authorized signature for IMRF typically falls under the Director of Human Resources which is presently a vacant position.  This Resolution will delegate the authorized agent responsibility to the CFO/Treasurer until a permanent HR Director is hired.

Have the contractual interim HR Director or another Village employee assume the role of the IMRF authorized agent.
