Fiscal Impact
The License Agreement includes a $40 fee, in accordance with the village’s right of way obstruction permit for metered parking spaces, and requires the Licensee to obtain appropriate insurance, including indemnifying the Village.
Background
The Careful Peach Boutique requested the use of two (2) parking spaces in Lot 10, adjacent to the store frontage to place a food truck and walk-up access for a Bastille Day 2019 Event
Alternatives
The Village Board could ask staff to work with the applicant to find an alternate location for their event.
Previous Board Action
The Village Board has approved of a temporary license agreement with Careful Peach for a similar event in 2018 and 2017.
