Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
Developer, District House LLC, is responsible for securing and installing Public Art pursuant to Planned Development Ordinance 16-087 accessible to the general public at the development site. The Developer is requesting that Village allow a sculpture to be placed on the Village's right of way next to the development. Upon installation in a manner acceptable to the Village, the developer will donate the piece to the Village of Oak Park.

Fiscal Impact
The Village is not financially responsible for the installation or purchase of the sculpture. The Village budgets funds to the Oak Park Area Art Commision each year for the maintenance and upkeep of all of the Village's public art pieces. Any upkeep for the sculpture in future years, will be part of that future line item.

Background
Developer, District House LLC, is responsible for securing and installing Public Art pursuant to Planned Development Ordinance 16-087 accessible to the general public at the development site. The Developer contracted with the Artist Zach Balousek to commission a sculpture similar to the sculpture which was part of the Village's sculpture walk in 2018. District House would like to enter into an agreement with the Artist for a sculpture that was part of the Village's 2018 Sculputre Walks. District House LLC does not have physical space to place the sculpture on their property. They are requesting that the Village allow the sculpture to be placed on the Village's parkway. District House LLC will purchase and pay to the install the piece.
