Background

Tre Sorelle seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-1 liquor license for the property located at 1111 Lake Street.  Tre Sorelle will have a similar character to the current licensee at the premises, Mancini’s on Lake, with a full service food menu and indoor and outdoor and table seating.  At its special meeting of December 17, 2019, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Tre Sorelle met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-1 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued.   Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Tre Sorelle as a B-1 licensee.  The LCRB also recommended that establishments that maintained  liquor licenses that are no longer in operation be deleted from the Village Code.
