Background
Kettlestrings seeks the issuance of a Restaurant Class B-4 liquor license for the property located at 800 S. Oak Park Avenue. Kettlestrings will have a similar character to the current licensee at the premises, Obsessed Kitchen Kitchen and Bar, with a full service food menu and indoor and outdoor table seating. At its special meeting of December 17, 2019, the Liquor Control Review Board (“LCRB”) found that Kettlestrings met all of the applicable requirements for the issuance of a B-4 license and voted to unanimously recommend that the license be issued. Prior to the issuance of the license, the Village Code must be amended to include Kettlestrings as a B-4 licensee.
