Fiscal Impact
The Fiscal Year 2019 Public Works Department, Building Maintenance, Operating Budget includes sufficient funds in accounts 1001-43790-101, 711, 712, 713, 714 and 717-540674 for property repairs.

Background
On February 28, 2019, the Village Manager approved an Independent Contractor Agreement with OMS for emergency HVAC repairs for $20,000.00. On July 22, 2019 the Village Board approved an Amendment to the Independent Contractor Agreement with OMS for an additional $20,000.00 for unforeseen repairs that were needed at the Public Works Center and at the Holley Court Parking Garage. The amended total amount was $40,000.00.

Towards the end of 2019, unforeseen repairs were needed on the Village Hall and Central Water Pump Station boilers, and a new fan motor was needed at the Public Works Center. The total amount for all additional unplanned repairs exceeded the 2019 Purchase Order amount of $40,000.00 by $1,858.93. This second Amendment to the original Independent Contractor Agreement with OMS is to cover the cost of these needed repairs.
