Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Staff presented a Petition to Extend Z3 overnight permit parking on the 400 Block of North Taylor which is currently within 500 feet of an R-7 Multi-family Zoning District and is thus, eligble for inclusion in the Z3 Overnight Parking Zone. After a hearing, the Transportation Commission supports the addition of the four (4) overnight parking spaces.

Recommendation
After a hearing on January 27, 2020, the Transportation Commission is recommending adding four (4) parking spaces to the Z3 overnight zone on the 400 block of N. Taylor. The location of these four parking spaces is shown circled on the attached map.

Staff Recommendation
Approve the recommended Motion. Staff will present the Village's Overnight Permit Parking Map and Daytime Restrictions map to the Village Board for codification at a later date.

Fiscal Impact
The recommended change adds four (4) available permits that residents may purchase for the Z3 overnight zone. The fiscal impact will be negligable.

Background
Pursuant to Village Ordinance 1994-0-60, overnight parking is allowed on street frontage adjacent to property located within five hundred (500) feet of an R-7 zoned district which contains a multiple family dwelling containing four (4) or more dwelling units. The additional spaces recommended by the Transportation Commission for the 400 block of North Taylor are within the Village Ordinance requirements.
