Recommendation
Adopt the Ordinance.

Fiscal Impact
Due to the public health emergency and statewide stay-at-home order, It is estimated that the Village collected approximately 42% of anticipated parking permit revenue for Q2. This equates to a revenue loss of approximately $400,000 for Q2. The primary reasons for this loss are the suspension of permit enforcement and the Village Board's authorization to charge 50% of the original permit price for Q2 permits. If the Board authorizes a 25% or 50% discount for Q3 permit renewals, it is estimated the Village will realize an additional revenue shortfall of approximately $170,000 or $340,000 respectively. This assumes enforcement of parking permits will resume in Q3.
