Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

The Village seeks to utilize the Professional Services Agreement previously approved by the Board of Trustees for the establishment of sworn entry-level and promotional eligbility lists to conduct Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic Testing and Fire Lieutenant Promotions.

Fiscal Impact
The FY20 budget provides funds for professional services for fire testing. The pricing is as follows:

Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic: $6,950
Fire Lieutenant: $32,435

Background
The Village released an RFP for these services on March 6, 2019. In support of Article 28 of Chapter 2 of the Village Code, the Village uses an independent service provider who specializes in public safety recruitment to conduct standardeized testing to assist the Village in the stablishment of entry level police and fire eligbility lists for filling sworn vacancies as well as promotional eligibility lists. The Board of Trustees previously approved a professional services agreement with Industrial/Organizational Solutions in RES 19-214 on July 22, 2019. The Village seeks to renew the contract to conduct Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic Testing and Fire Lieutenant Promotions in FY20.

Alternatives
The Village Board could direct staff to conduct addition research or suggest an alternative recommendation.
