Background

The owner of Momenta!, Inc. requested use of Village property during Phase 4 of Restore Illinois in order to keep their business operational during Phase 4 of Restore Illinois.    They have requested to hold rehearsals in two groups of twelve participants on Saturdays beginning August 29,2020 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. through October 3, 2020.   They will not use amplified music as part of the dance rehearsals.

Alternatives

Direct staff to look for an alternative location.

Previous Board Action

Previously the the Village Board  permitted use of the Village property for organized recreation/fitness activities.  Given the unprecedented nature of the economy related to COVID-19, staff is looking for alternatives where feasible, to assist local businesses.
