Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

The consultant's services will include an analysis of our codes and system configurations while automating some processes and making citizen-facing interactive reports and dashboards.

Background
As of Jan 1, 2021, the Bureau of Justice Statistics on the National Crime Statistics Exchange transitioned the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program to a National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) only data collection. Unlike data reported through the UCR Program's traditional Summary Reporting System (SRS), an aggregate monthly tally of crimes, NIBRS goes much deeper because of its ability to provide circumstances and context for crimes like location, time of day, and whether the incident was cleared. NIBRS was implemented to improve the overall quality of crime data collected by law enforcement.

CISYNC will work with our records division and crime analysis unit to make sure our system is properly configured and make the necessary adjustments. They will create internal/external web-based dashboards consisting of crime, service calls, and activity. CISYNC has extensive knowledge in public safety records management.
