Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

This position is a temporary nurse position for a one-year period to assist the Oak Park Public Health Department primarily with vaccinations as requested, in particular on weekends.  The Village’s other nurses hired during COVID primarily work weekdays and evenings.  The request is for the position to be paid from the Village’s ARPA funding.

Background

The Oak Park Public Health Department receives vaccine from the IL Department of Public Health that is either distributed to eligible entities in the community to give vaccinations or the Oak Park Public Health Department will host events themselves.  This position will assist with hosted events from the Oak Park Public Health Department.
