Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Ordinance 22-65 was adopted by the Village Board on September 19, 2022. The ordinance requires service stations in the Village that sell gasoline close “no later than twelve o’clock (12:00) A.M.” and open no “earlier than five o’clock (5:00) A.M.,” on a daily basis.  A copy of the ordinance is attached. Prior to the adoption of Ordinance 22-65 on September 19, 2022, the Board discussed public safety at 24-hour gas stations pursuant to Board meeting agenda items on August 1, 2022, and September 6, 2022. 

 

This is a public hearing to determine whether Ordinance 22-65 should be amended. Notice of the public hearing has been provided to businesses that are open on a 24-hour basis in the Village per the attached correspondence.
