Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Overview
The Park District of Oak Park (PDOP) is nearing completion of its Community Recreation Center located at 229 Madison Street. As part of the construction of this building, the PDOP installed various elements in the public right of way including utilities, a bioswale, and non-standard materials for bricks and furniture. The PDOP also owns the east half of the east-west alleyway behind the site. The agreement defines ownership and maintenance responsibilities for these various items associated with the new recreation center.

Background
The Park District of Oak Park (PDOP) is nearing the completion of its Community Recreation Center on Madison Street. As part of the construction of the building, the PDOP installed various improvements which impact the public right of way (ROW) and require an agreement to define ownership and maintenance responsibilities. These improvements generally consist of the following items: solar panels in the PDOP parking lot west of Highland with underground electrical lines in the ROW; fiber optic communications wires under the Madison Street and Harvey Avenue ROW connecting the PDOP Administration Building to the Recreation Center; a bioswale in the Madison ROW; various non-standard materials for brick pavers, tree pits, and street furniture in the Madison ROW; private sewer service piping and manholes in the Madison ROW; and a building canopy extending into the Madison ROW.
