A Regular Meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., to begin in Council Chambers (Room  
201). The Village Board is expected to enter immediately into Closed Session  
(Room 130) and reconvene the Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in Council  
Chambers (Room 201).  
The President and Board of Trustees welcome you. Public comments may be made by  
individuals at the beginning of the meeting, as well as when agenda items are

Maintenance of the Green Alleys Project in Oak Park, Illinois and

Overview:  
The Village of Oak Park recently received notice of award of $440,000 from  
the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) for their Green  
Infrastructure Partnership Program for construction of four permeable alleys in  
2026. The IGA defines the terms and conditions of the funding program.

Village departments have vehicles and equipment that may be disposed of  
once they are no longer usable to the Village. These vehicles and equipment  
will be reassigned, sold at auction, traded in, consigned, or disposed of as  
scrap.  
An Ordinance Amending the Municipal Code to Allow Domestic  
Electric Vehicles in Higher Weight Classes to Park on Residential  
Streets  
Overview:  
This item seeks approval of an ordinance amendment to the Village’s  
Municipal Code to allow domestic electric vehicles (EVs) to park on residential  
streets that currently exceed the allowable threshold, such as SUVs and  
trucks.

This Ordinance was prepared at the request of the Village Board. It amends  
the Village Code to increase penalties impersonating police officers and  
firefighters in the Village of Oak Park.  
An Ordinance amending Chapter 23A (“Taxes”) of the Oak Park Village  
Code by amending Article 11 (“Municipal Grocery Tax”) and repealing  
Ordinance No. 25-159 regarding a Municipal Grocery Tax

This is an ordinance amending the Village’s local grocery tax to update  
technical language as requested by the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Overview:  
The Historic Preservation Commission denied a Certificate of Appropriateness  
(COA) to Applicant, John Schiess, for 1035 South Boulevard, as the  
Commission found the proposed ten-story rear addition to be not in compliance  
with the Architectural Review Guidelines. The Historic Preservation Ordinance  
provides the Applicant the option to appeal to the Village Board.
