Background

The Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”) seeks a Special Events Class E-1 liquor license. The E-1 license will allow the Chamber to hold up to ten (10) special events annually that include the service of alcoholic liquors at premises it owns or leases for Chamber events.  At one time, the Chamber held such a license but it lapsed several years ago.  At its March 26, 2024 regular meeting, the Liquor Control Review Board unanimously voted to recommend that the Ordinance be adopted granting the E-1 license to the Chamber.
