Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Overview
The Village of Oak Park is engaging in a process of updating the Harrison Street Arts District Plan as an outcome from the Comprehensive Planning process. The Village will use a planning consultant to facilitate the process with the community and staff.

Authorize the Village Manager to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Teska Associates, Inc. upon adoption of the Resolution.

Fiscal Impact
The overall fiscal impact is the not-to-exceed amount of $57,100. Funds have been budgeted in account number 1001 46202 101 530667.

Background
The current plan was created by graduate students from the University of Illinois a Chicago - College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs in 2002-2003 for both the Harrison Street Arts district and the South Town business district. Staff determined that by separating the two districts it would allow a more focused approach for each district, starting with the Harrison Streets Arts District. Each district is somewhat unique and deserves individualized attention. As part of this and future budgeting processes, staff will be working toward updating all existing Village business district plans.

Staff began this process of seeking services of a planning consultant to assist in the update to the Harrision Street Arts District plan by issuing a Request for Qualifications in January of this year.
