Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Overview
Competitive bids were opened on February 14, 2019, for the 2019 Alley Improvement Project 19-4. Fifteen contractors picked up bid documents and six bids were received. The low responsible bid was submitted by Triggi Construction, Inc. in an amount of $1,925,406.95. The project includes replacement of 15 alleys throughout the village.

Fiscal Impact
The costs for this project would be funded through the FY 2019 Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, for Alley Improvements account no. 3095-43780-101-570964; the FY 2019 Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, for Local Street Construction account no. 3095-43780-101-570951 for patching of existing alleys; and through the FY 2019 CDBG fund for Development Customer Services - Neighborhood Services, Capital Improvements account no. 2083-46201-668-583657 according to the table below:



The remaining Capital Improvement Alley funds will be used to pay for the design of the proposed 2020 alley improvement project which starts typically in early fall as well as a portion of the Village's share of a proposed green alley project for construction in 2020 which the Village received a MWRD grant for.

Residents have the option during the project to reimburse the Village to have their private garage-aprons reconstructed at the contract unit price and this cost will be offset as generated revenue.
