Overview
The Village received two competitive bids for changing the low level pedestrian light pole to a higher level street light at 111 South Maple Avenue in the new cul de sac behind the Eleven 33 Development on South Boulevard east of Harlem to properly illuminate the area. The developer has been unable to have their contractor complete this work which is required under their permit and requested the Village perform this work. The developer will reimburse the Village for these costs upon award of contract prior to starting the work.

Fiscal Impact
There is no financial impact for this work as revenues from the developer will reimburse the same fund being used to pay for this work. There are available funds to pay for this work in the FY2019 Capital Improvement Fund, Public Works - Engineering, Street Lighting Improvements, account no. 3095-43780-101-570954.
Background
The Eleven-33 Development (formerly the Lincoln Development) created a new cul de sac on Maple Avenue south of the building. Per the approved permit drawings the existing low level pedestrian light pole needed to be replaced with a higher level brighter street light pole in order to properly illuminate the new cul de sac area. The developer has been unable to have their contractor perform this work and requested the Village perform this work. The Village received two proposals to complete this work. The lowest proposal was from H&H Electric Co for $14,178.
