Overview
There are eighteen Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Resolutions and Agreements recommended which represent the allocation of funding for all the Board-approved projects for Program Year 2020. It is necessary to enter into the Program Year 2020 Subrecipient agreements with the agencies (Subrecipients) so that they can expend their CDBG grant funds. The Agreements clearly outline the terms and conditions of their grants with the Village and HUD.

Background
As an Entitlement Community, the Village of Oak Park receives an annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and uses the funds for a variety of locally-determined projects. Normally the Village also receives Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding; however, for Program Year 2020 HUD did not allocate any funds to the Village.
The following CDBG Resolutions and Agreements represent the allocation of funding for all the Board-approved projects for the Program Year 2020. It is necessary to enter into the Program Year 2020 Subrecipient agreements with the agencies (Subrecipients) so that they can expend their CDBG grant funds. The Agreements clearly outline the terms and conditions of their grants with the Village and HUD.
