Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. Background
This is a new grant opportunity from the Illinois Department of Public Health.

This grant will fund Oak Park Health Department's efforts to provide influenza, MPV (monkeypox virus), and other recommended vaccines such as chicken pox, measles, mumps rubella, polio, hepatitis B, and RSV (when approved), in addition to COVID-19 vaccines, to communities facing health disparities and vulnerable populations.

During the years of the COVID pandemic, routine immunizations decreased on a population level, which can lead to an increased spread of communicable diseases, such as the flu, chickenpox, and measles. This grant will allow the department to proactively address this public health issue.

The Department is working to build our immunization program, one of the core tenets of public health services.
