Background
Comedy Plex, LLC, DBA Comedy Plex ("Comedy Plex") seeks certain amendments to the Entertainment Club Class D-9 liquor license. The proposed Ordinance contains certain amendments to the Class D-9 liquor license classification, which include the following: (1) the sale of non-alcoholic beverages must be available at all times that alcoholic beverages are sold; (2) a prohibition that no persons under the age of 21 shall be allowed into an entertainment club without the supervision of a parent or legal guardian; (3) prepackaged snacks must be available for consumption when alcoholic beverages are sold; (4) no more than two alcoholic beverages shall be served to a person at any time; and (5) all manager, supervisors, sellers and servers of alcoholic beverages are required to have completed beverage alcohol sellers and servers education and training (BASSET).
