Regular Village Board meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m., the first three Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of Village Hall (room 201), 123 Madison St. When a Regular Meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting typically is held the following night. The Village Board also meets in special sessions from time to time. However, dates and times of Special Meetings can vary and may change.

Overview
Every year the staff liaisons for each Citizen Commission present to the Village Board a proposed work plan for the upcoming year. The Commissions create these work plans as part of their regular meetings typically in the late summer or fall prior to the new year and as the Village Board is having their budget meetings for the next fiscal year.

Staff Recommendation
Staff confirms that the recommended work plans from each Commission is in compliance with each Commission's enabling ordinance as well as in keeping with Village Board direction. There are three work plans for which staff is recommending modifications and those modifications are noted in strike-through format in the attached applicable work plans.

Environment and Energy: Staff has removed the item related to a request for light pollution research as the Village Board received a report from the Chief Building Official on this issue earlier this year. If the Village Board requests additional information on this subject, staff would recommend adding this to the Building Codes Advisory Commission (BCAC) work plan as the staff report (and original resident complaint) refers to lighting standards in the Village Code.

Housing Programs Advisory Committee (HPAC): Staff has removed the Commission's request to research Inclusionary Zoning since the Village Board has already referred this to staff and the report back to the Village Board is pending.

Transportation Commission: Staff has removed the following: (1) the review of the Madison Street Road Diet since the project is already awarded and underway; (2) a review of parking permit fees is not in its enabling ordinance and is a staff function; (3) a review of "fast charging" stations for electric vehicles is n...
